Richard Goebelt is a seasoned expert in automotive safety and mobility. Since January 2017, he has served as Director of Automotive and Mobility and Member of the Management Board at TÜV-Verband (VdTÜV), where he oversees vehicle and mobility sectors.
Prior to this role, Goebelt was Vice Director of the Brussels Office and a policy and innovations advisor at VdTÜV, focusing on digital transformation, vehicle type approval, and electromobility.
His career also includes experience as a scientific assistant in the German Bundestag. Goebelt holds a Master's degree in History and International Law from Freie Universität Berlin.
