Dr. Andrea Leiter
Global Business Segment Manager for ADAS/AD tools and solutions, AVL

Andrea Leitner holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and Economics (2009) and a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering (2012), both from Graz University of Technology. Following her academic career, she worked at the Virtual Vehicle Research Center before joining AVL List GmbH, where she initially served as a research project manager.
Andrea later took on pivotal roles at AVL, including responsibility for the architecture of the AVL ADAS/AD testing solutions, and subsequently became Head of Development for these solutions. Currently, she is the Global Business Segment Manager for ADAS/AD tools and solutions at AVL, driving innovation and strategic direction in this critical area. As of early 2024, she also chairs the Technical Leadership Committee (TLC) of IAMTS (International Alliance for Mobility Testing and Standardization), contributing to global standards and leadership in the field of automated driving systems.
